When the gate is closed, water is diverted to sewer. When it is open, water flows to the storm drain. You stated that the gate in the new storm drain vault will remain closed during park operating hours and cleanup. This would direct flows carried out by bathers and wash down water to the sewer. Based on the fact that the park will not be open during the rainy season and due to the low volume of wastewater to be generated, I would have no problems with Legoland installing the proposed pumping system. Both the wash water and bather carry out water will be collected by the storm drain inlets throughout the water park. They will flow to the main storm drain clean out box of the storm drain pipe leaving the property. We will install, at this storm drain clean out, a sump pump system that will collect this water and pump it to the sewer system. I have attached drawings of the system for your review. We already have three of these stations on the property that have been in operation since 2005. Our request is to add a forth. The water quantities that will be collected and pumped into the sewer system during the summer months only are as follows: Wash Down Water 5,000 gallons daily Bather Gary Out Water 500 gallons daily The water park will be closed in the spring, fall and winter months so the diversion system will not be in use during the rainy season in this location. Can you please give me your feedback and let me know if there are any issues with us doing this. I appreciate your assistance. Thank you.
