Also, there is no State License for an interior designer. The kitchen drawings must be signed by a State Licensed Contractor work he is doing or a State Licensed Engineer or a State Licensed Architect. The kitchen drawings are not signed and the designer's name & State license number are not shown. Each sheet of the plans must be signed by the person responsible for their preparation, even though there are no structural changes, before the permits are issued. Business and Professions Code. The final set of corrected drawings to be reviewed for signing and sealing just before the permits are to be issued. 2. The City Building Official to review evidence of Health Department approval for proposed changes in the restaurant. PLUMBING (2010 CALIFORNIA PLUMBING CODE) 4-7 The gas line calculations for low pressure gas systems on sheets P0.1 and P5.1 do not agree. And the gas line plans on sheet P0.1 and sheet P2.1 do not seem to agree and can not be corrected without the corrected gas line sizing: Please provide cut-sheets and installation instructions for the proposed three deck Pizza Oven. Is this three stacked ovens or is this a single three level oven? Checking the gas connections. (Cut-sheets clearly show three separate ovens with each having gas demands of 1,100 CFH.) A) The developed gas pipe lengths do not agree. B) The Pizza Oven Gas demands do not agree. C) The Pizza Ovens require three gas line sediment traps, one for each oven. See the attached detail to the correct layout. D) Correct the new PVC pipe sleeve for the under ground gas line to show the required vent to the exterior for the PVC pipe sleeve. E) A complete review ofthe gas line sizing calculations and gas line plans will be done when corrected plans and calculations are provided. 8. On sheet P0.1 please correct the total developed gas pipe length for the 5 psi gas system from the public gas meter to the gas pressure regulator for this building. Not 120 feet shown to be just from the 5 psi loop to the gas pressure regulator for this building. Also the inside diameter ofthe VA inch PE pipe is not 1.494 inches as in the high pressure gas line sizing equation. As per the data provided the inside diameter ofthe VA inch PE pipe is only 1.328 inches. This is the outside pipe diameter minus two time the wall thickness (1.66-{0.133+0.133}). Please provide gas line sizing calculations for the 5 psi gas line from the public gas meter to the gas pressure regulators at this building. Clearly show the developed gas pipe length used. [NFPA 54:6.1.1] I 1217.1.2 Branch Length Method. (B) The pipe size of each section of branch piping not previously sized shall be determined using the length of piping from the point of delivery to the most remote outlet in each branch and the load of the section. I . 1217.1.3 Hybrid Pressure. The pipe size for each sec- tion of higher-pressure gas piping shall be determined using the longest length of piping from the point of de- livery to the most remote line pressure regulator. The pipe size from the line pressure regulator to each outlet shall be determined using the length of piping from the regulator to the most remote outiet served by the regula- tor. (B) Select the length in feet column and row showing the dis-1 tance, or the next longer distance if the table does not give the exact length. (C) Starting at the most remote outlet, find in the row just se- lected the gas demand for that outlet. If the exact figure of demand is not shown, choose the next larger figure in the row. (D) At the top of this column will be found the conect size of pipe. (E) Using this same row, proceed in a similar manner for each section of pipe serving this outlet. For each section of pipe, determine the total gas demand supplied by that section. Where gas piping sections serve both heating and cooling appliances and the installation prevents both | units from operating simultaneously, only the larger of the two (2) demand loads needs be used in sizing these sections.
