I am currently in plan check with a proposed remodel for my residence and I am having issues trying to get the architect and engineer to make timely corrections as requested by The Esgill Corporation to the plans to obtain a permit for that work. I have FINALLY gotten back the corrections from the architect and have submitted them to the engineer to verify that the structural corrections were made to the drawings per the engineer's redlining of the drawings. I hope to have the final corrections submitted to Esgill by 10/15 and receive a permit shortly thereafter. My goal is to facilitate the bulk of the work on that and my spa at the same time as both of these projects will be equally disruptive not only to me and my family but the entire neighborhood as well. I would also like to incorporate building department inspections on both aspects of the total work to be completed. Please accept this letter of explanation as a request to extend permit number CB053068 so I can complete both scopes of work at the same time. If you have any questions or comments please contact me at 858-342-4047. Thanks you for your time.
