Sleeping rooms shall have a window or exterior door for emergency escape. Sill height shall not exceed 44" above the floor. Windows must have an openable area of at least 5.7 square feet with the minimum openable width 20" and the minimum openable height 24". The emergency door or window shall be openable from the inside to provide a full, clear opening without the use of separate tools. Section 310.4. Specify window type @ Bedroom #5. If so, at the water meter station, the demand in gpm may be listed there. Irrigation services are listed with a circled "I", and potable water is typically a circled "W. If the improvement plans do not list the irrigation meter and the service/meter will be installed via another instrument such as the building plans or grading plans (w/ a right of way permit of course), then the applicant must provide irrigation calculations for estimated worst-case irrigation demand (largest zone with the farthest reach). Typically, Lany Black has already reviewed this if landscape plans have been prepared, but the applicant must provide the calculations to you for your use. Once you have received a good example of irrigation calculations, keep a set for your reference. In general the calculations will include: Hydraulic grade line Elevation at point of connection (POC) Pressure at POC in pounds per square inch (PSI) Worse case zone (largest, farthest away from valve Total Sprinkler heads listed (with gpm use per head) Include a 10% residual pressure at point of connection 3.
