Martin Orenyak, Building and Planning Director Reference: 1360 and 1370 Las Flores Drive Gentlemen: Our District has reviewed the proposed development consisting of two dwelling units generally located as referenced above, and has evaluated the impact of that project on the facilities of this District. The governing board wishes to advise the city officials and the residents of Carlsbad that as residential units are added to the commmunity, it is likely that many classes in the District will be crowded, resulting in possible impairment to the educational and transportational services offered to the stu- dents. It is also likely that school schedules may have to be changed, resulting in an increase in the year-round program, or double-sessions, or both. However, the District is able to assure you that school facilities will be available concurrent with need for this development as it is presently proposed. Sincerely, dtY~lkl~ 4 "James Stark y Comptroller ac
