FIRE PROTECT10 N Exterior walls closer than 3 feet to property lines shall be one-hour rated construction and have no openings. Table 5-A. Exterior walls closer than 3 feet to a property line shall have 30 inch parapets when the floor area per floor exceeds 1,000 square feet. See Section 1710 for possible exception. Projections, including eaves, may not extend more than 12 inches into the 3 foot setback from the property line. Section 504 (b) .
