ATS: The grounding electrode, conductor size, and the neutral bond at the generator
(NEC 250-26), and both required signs installed at the service. NEC 700.8 (a & b)

[MET] Emergency Disconnect/Switch: Fire Department requires that an emergency disconnect of switch
be providied on all standby systems. This disconnect may be a thumb-switch, push-button or
throw-switch, but shall be 'RED' in color and be clearly identified as emergency shut-off.
Signs: A sign shall be placed at the service entrance equipment that indicates the type and
location of on-site optional standby power sources. A sign shall also be provided indicating
"Emergency Shut-down" where the Emergency shut-down switch or disconnnect is located.
