SUBJECT: Moisture Conditioning of Foundation Soils, Lot 87, La Costa Nledows Unit 1, Abedul Street, La Costa, California.

In accordance with your request we have inspected the subject
lot during and after the presock operation. The moisture con-
tent of the foundation soils on the lot was increased by pond-
ing water inside earth perimeter dikes for a period in excess
of five days. Moisture content testing, performed April 25,
1977 on a soil sample obtained from an approximate depth of 3
feet below existing pad grade, indicated the soil moisture con-
tent was 21 percent and. that the lot had been adequately pre-
soaked i:r, accordance with the recommendatisns of Benton Engineer-
ing, Inc. for expansive soil conditions.
If there are any questions regarding this report, please do not
