Submit FOUR new complete sets of plans for commercial/industrial projects (THREE sets of plans for residential projects). For expeditious processing, corrected sets can be submitted in one of two ways: 1. The New Master Bedroom windows appear to be too small to comply with egress. Sleeping rooms shall have a window or exterior door for emergency escape. Section R310. a) Windows must have an openable area of at least 5.0 square feet at floor grade level. 3. For the proposed living room, add a clear note on the plans that there shall be no cooking appliance installed in new addition. 4. The energy performance T-24 sheets show that the walls and ceiling shall be insulated with R-15 and R-38, respectively. Plan sheetA-3 shows that R-13 for the walls and R-30 for the ceiling, please clarify. • MECHANICAL 5. This is not a correction; it is presumed that you will use the same 6"-8" flexible duct currently feeding the vent for the existing bedroom 2. Will the duct be upgraded to feed the new bedroom keeping in mind that every dwelling unit shall be provided with heating facilities capable of maintaining a room temperature of 68 degrees per. CRC 303.9. 6. Show location of attic access with a minimum size of 22"x30", unless the maximum vertical headroom height in the attic is less than 30". Access must be provided to each separated attic area (if over 30 sq. ft.), shall be located in a hallway or other readily accessible location and 30" headroom clearance is required above the opening.
