the conductors are undersized. Review requirements of the Code section.
2.Where equipment exceeds 6ft in width then 2 entrances are required for access to the
equipment room.With the new 800 amp disconnect within the 6' area in front of the
existing 3000 amp service it may be a code violation depending on exact dimensions.
Please review.NEC(CEC)110.26(C)(2).This is a troublesome comment as the
submitted original design does not appear to comply with Code, let alone with the added
800 ampere disconnect.The distance between the wall and the existing service has to
be at least 7'((2 X 3'6')(Table 110.26(A)&CEC 110.26(C)(2)),and that doesn't scale.
Include a dimensioned layout with room dimensions,equipment dimensions and 110.26
clearances all detailed.
3.Provide required transformer ventilation.NEC(CEC) 450.9 Impossible to determine the
design of the room that the new 300KW transformer is installed therein:Is it open,
closed?What is the existing ventilation?
