(Pursuant to Chapter 3, Article 7, of the Subdivision Map Act or Section 8770.5 of the Business and
Professions Code as they may be amended).
Notice is given that I Douglas R. Melchior hereby certify that Carlsbad Tract CT 02-15, Map Number
14960 in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, filed in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County 2-04-05, is in error and is corrected as follows in accordance with Section
66469 of the Subdivision Map Act of Section 8770.5 of the Land Surveyor's Act, or any amendment
thereto.

Because of a change in the Surveyor performing the Monumentation, the legend and notes where monuments
are to be set with discs or plugs marked "LS 5276" are changed to discs or plugs marked "LS 4611".

Because of the construction of a water valve at the westerly terminus of line "L4" (N81°50'50"W,
146.99'), said line being the southerly line of lot 2, a 2" iron pipe with tag marked "LS 4611 was set on a
2.00 foot offset along said line on a bearing of S81°50'50"E and a distance of 2.00 feet from said
westerly terminus.
Because of the construction of a concrete brow ditch at the southerly terminus of line "LI" (N20°39'26"
E, 52.18'), said line being on the easterly line of lot 1, a lead and disc marked "LS 4611" was set in lieu
of a 2" iron pipe.
Because of the construction of a cul-de-sac at the northerly terminus of line "LI" (N20°39'26"E,
52.18'), said line being on the easterly line of lot 1, a nail and disc marked "LS 4611" was set in lieu of a
2" iron pipe.

Because of the construction of a concrete spillway at the southerly terminus of curve "C9"
(R=336', A=30°06'05", L=176.52') said curve being on the southeasterly line of lot 3, a lead and disc
marked "LS 4611" was set in lieu of a 2" iron pipe.

Because of the construction of a concrete sidewalk at the northerly terminus of line "L3" (N 10°46'00"E,
67.64') said line being on the westerly line of lot 33, a lead and disc marked "LS4611" was set in lieu of
a 2" iron pipe.

Because Whitney Place was vacated per Document Number 2006-0672623, all right-of-way, centerline,
