PURSUANT TO Chapter 3, Article 7, of the Subdivision Map Act or any amendments thereto,
NOTICE IS GIVEN that I, Douglas B. Stroup, hereby certify that City of Carlsbad Tract 02-07,
Emerald Pointe Estates, Map No. 15222, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of
California, filed as Document No. 2005-1098766 in the Office of the Recorder of the County of
San Diego on December 22, 2005 is in error and is corrected in accordance with Section 66469
of the Subdivision Map Act or any amendment thereto as follows:
PURSUANT TO Section 66498 of the Subdivision Map Act, the original surveyor has released
his obligation to set the final monuments in the form of a letter to the City Engineer.
LIST OF CORRECTIONS
SURVEYOR'S NOTE: This Certificate of Correction is filed to correct the location and/or
character of monuments previously set by the original surveyor, David W. Ambler PLS 7322,
and to correct the location and/or character of monuments set by or under the direction and
control of Douglas B. Stroup, PLS 8553.

• The monument symbol A shown under "LEGEND" is corrected to read "INDICATES
WILL SET STREET SURVEY WELL MONUMENT STAMPED LS 8553" in lieu of a "street
survey well monument stamped LS 7322".
• Set a lead and disc stamped "LS 7322" at the southeasterly terminus of course N
70*'45'58" W, 61.49' ofthe southerly boundary line within Cobblestone Road in lieu of a
5/8" rebar with plastic cap stamped "LS 7322".
• Set a spike and washer stamped "LS 7322" at the southeasterly terminus of course N
70'*45'58" W, 34.51' ofthe southerly boundary line within Cobblestone Road in lieu of a
5/8" rebar with plastic cap stamped "LS 7322".

At the westerly terminus of course N 72*'53'40" E, 29.71' of the northerly line of Lot 3.
At the southeasterly terminus of course N 56°25'00" W, 31.50' of the northeasterly line
of Lot 5.
At the most northerly comer of Lot 8.
At the most westerly corner of Lot 11.
At the southeasterly terminus of course N 56°25'00" W, 73.97' of the southwesterly line
of Lot 14.
At the southeast corner of Lot 14.
At the southeasterly tenninus of offsite course N 63*'39'31" W, 37.58' of the northerly
sideline ofthat portion Sapphire Drive dedicated per Map No. 13428.
• The "Found street survey well monument stamped "LS 5669" per Map No. 13428" was
destroyed. Set a street survey well monument stamped "LS 8553".
