LEGAL DESCRIPTION - for Adjustment Plat - Philip M. Newell
(Revised July 15, 1977)
Being a portion of Tract No. 237 and of the Northerly Half of Chinquapin
Avenue of Thum Lands, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State
of California, according to a map thereof No. 1681, filed in the Office of
the Recorder of said San Diego County December 9, 1915, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Center!ine of Chinquapin Avenue, distant thereof
South 61-21-00 West 536.80 feet from it's intersection with the Centerline of
Adams Street, as shown on said map no. 1681, thence North 28-39-00 West 405.89
feet (405.73 feet record), thence South 61-20-20 West 92.20 feet to a point on
the course described as "North 21-24-23 West, 1131.23 feet" in the Deed to the
State of California, recorded November 27, 1951 in Book 4302, Page 239, San
Diego County Official Records, thence along said course, South 21-54-30 East
408.70 feet to the Centerline of the beforementioned Chinquapin Avenue, thence
along said Centerline North 61-21-00 East 140.18 feet, more or less, to the
Point of Beginning.
