The City Engineer has determined that the real property described below, has not
been divided in compliance with the Subdivision Map Act and with the provisions
of the Carlsbad Municipal Code pursuant thereto. It has further been determined
that the property can be brought into compliance with the State Map Act and the
Carlsbad Municipal Code provided the conditions stated below are complied with
to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.

DESCRIPTION: (See Exhibit "A" attached)
NOTE: The description in Exhibit "A" attached has been provided by the owner
of the property and neither the City of Carlsbad nor any of its
officers or employees assume responsibility for the accuracy of said
description.
This Certificate of Compliance shall have no force and effect if the above
owners or any subsequent transferee or assignee acquires any contiguous property
other than a lot or lots shown on a recorded subdivision map, parcel map or
record of survey map filed pursuant to and prior to repeal (Stats. 1955, Ch.
1593) of Section 11575 of the Business and Professions Code.
This Certificate of Compliance shall in no way affect the requirements of any
other County, State or Federal agency that regulates development of real
property.

according to the map thereof No. 10899, filed April 11, 1984 in the office
of the County Recorder of said County described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the easterly line of Avenida Encinas at the
westerly corners common to lots 1 and 2 of said Carlsbad Tract; No. 81-5;
thence,
N. 72°46'30" E., along the southerly line of Lots 1 and 8 of said
Tract 81-5 a distance of 399.73 feet to a point on the westerly line of
Interstate No. 5, said point also being the most southeasterly corner of
said lot 8; thence,
S. 22°17'46" E., along the westerly line of said Interstate No. 5 a
distance of 271.19 feet to an angle point therein; thence,
S. 03°32'19" E., continuing along said westerly line a distance of
70.81 feet to the northeasterly corner of Parcel 3 of Parcel Map No.
14,028 in the City of Carlsbad, said point also being the southeast corner
of said lot 7; thence,
S. 75°10'06" W., leaving the westerly line of said Interstate No. 5
and along the northerly line of said Parcel 3 a distance of 140.43 feet
to a point on the easterly end of the Raintree Drive cul-de-sac as shown
on said Carlsbad Tract 81-5 whose radial center bears S. 75°10'06" W. a
distance of 50.00 feet; thence,
Along the curve of said cul-de-sac in a northwesterly and westerly
direction, an arc distance of 92.96 feet, said curve having a delta of
106°31'20" and a radius of 50.00 feet; thence,
S. 58°38'46" W., along the northerly line of said Raintree Drive,
a distance of 50.00 feet to the beginning of a curve concave to the north-
west; thence,
Southwesterly along the arc of said curve 25.95 feet, said curve
having a delta of 16°31'20" and a radius of 90.00 feet; thence,
S. 75°10'06" W. , continuing along the northerly line of Raintree
Drive a distance of 106.40 feet to the beginning of a curve concave to
the northeast; thence,
Southwesterly, westerly and northwesterly along the arc of said
curve 38.23 feet to a point on the easterly line of said Avenida Encinas,
said curve having a delta of 87°36'24" and a radius of 25.00 feet; thence,
N. 17°13'30" W., along the easterly line of Avenida Encinas, a dis-
tance of 267.92 feet to the point of beginning.
