Gentlemen:
You are hereby notified that the Board of Supervisors,
on October 8, 1934, made its Order granting you per-
mission to lay a six-inch water pipe under the following-
named streets in Carlsbad, California, at location shown
on plats accompanying application; subj'ect to the following
provisions:
1. - Said pipe shall be laid at a depth of thirty
inches from the surface of the ground to the
top of the pipe.
g. - Said Carlsbad Mutual Water Company shall be
responsible for, and indemnify and save the
County harmless from any damage, cost, expense
or claim for damage, cost or expense, arising
either directly, indirectly or consequentially
from the laying of said pipeline
all in accordance with the recommendation of the County
Surveyor and ex-officio Road Commissioner.
Said streetfs being:
On county road between Front Street and Tuttle Street, ^
for a distance of 500 feet;
On Magnolia Street, between Highland Street and Adams - *^
Street, for a distance of 450 feet;
On Adams street between Cleveland Street and Hoover Street 7 '
for a distance of 800 feet;
On Garflield Street, between Tamarak Street and *^hihquapih
Avenue, for a distance of 600 feet;
On Laguna Street, between First Street and Second Street
a distance of 450 feet;

On California Street, from the east line of Hotalings Lands
for a distance of 400 feet; ^ i.
On Chestnut street between Highland Street and Adams Street for
a distance of 1200 feet; and ^ ^
On Patterson Street from the intersection of Patterson and ^uttle
and running easterly along Patterson street for a distance of
800 feet. / i
