%fHEREA$, on the 4th day of October, 1956, the CARLSE
UNION CHURCH, a California corporation, as Trustee for the
SCOUTS of the City of Carlsbad, purchased the land hereinaf
described for the use and benefit of the BOY SCOUTS OF CARL
and
VmEREfi, the Lands so purchased are contiguous and a
to the lands within the City of Carlsbad owned by the City
CarlSbad, denominated "Holiday Parkc", used for public park

WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Union Church, acting as Truste
the Boy Scouts of Carlsbad, has resolved that public purpos
would be served by having said land gratuitously transferre
the City of Carlsbad for the use and benefit of the Boy Sco
Carlsbad.
NOW, THEREFORE, the CARLSBAD UNION CHURCH, a Califor
