, the Grantor, does hereby grant to the City
of CarIsbad, the Grantee, a right of way easement. five feet ( 5 ) in width,
in, upon, over, and across the foIIowing described lands, to wit:
That portion of Lot 12, in Block "C" of a Resubdivision
of a portion of Tracts 238 and 243.of Thum Lands in the City
of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, A
according to Map thereof No. 2103, filed in the office of :'j
the County Recorder of San Diego County, April"3, 1928,
lying Easterly of the Easterly line of the Westerly one
acre of said Lot 12, the Easterly line of said Westerly
one acre being parallel with the Westerly line of said
Lot 12,

Beginning at the corner common to Lots 11 and 12 in
the Northwesterly line of said Block "C"; thence along the
