EASEMENT
1 i.
We, R. R. Rockett and Larie Rockett, Husband and
Wife, of Carlsbad, California, in consideration of Ten Dollars
($10.00) and other value received, do grant the Carlsbad Mutual
Water Company, a corporation, organized under the laws of the
State of California, the perpetual right and easement to enter
upon the parcel of land described to-wit:
Commencir,g at the most Westerly corner of Lot J:
Rancho Agua Hedionda, County of San Diego, State of California,
said corner being also the most Hortherly corner of Thum Lands
as per Nap Number 1681, records of said San Diego County;
thence South twenty-three degrees, thirty-three minutes East
(S23O33'E) a distance of one thousand eight hundred sixty-six
and ten hundredths feet (1,866.10 feet) to a point; thence North
fifty-six degrees, thirty-five minutes, thirty seconds East
(N56°35130nE) a distance of fifteen and twenty-three hundredths
feet (15.23 feet) to a point; thence North twenty-three degrees,
thirty-three minutes West (N23O33V) to the Northwesterly line
of Lot J as shown on Eap Number 823, records of San Diego
County; thence South thirty degyees, four minutes 'Kest (S3Oo04'W)
along sal6 Northwesterly line of Lot J to the point of beginning:
to be used for the purpose of placing, constructing, repairing,
and maintairdng and using pipe, and fittings thereon; and the
transmission of water for all purposes for which it may be used,
and also the perpetual right to replace, maintain, and repair all

pipe and fittings installed upon the described real property
and to that end, and for that purpose to go upon said land
to place, construct, repair and replace said pipe and ffittings,
and maintain the same in a suitable and proper condition for /
use. It is agreed by the parties hereto that the aforesaid
+ rights are hereby granted.
The said corporation is to be responsible for any
damages that may be caused by constructing, operating, and
maintaining all said pipe and fittings upon said land for
which in law it would be liable.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all such rights and easements
unto the said corporation, its successors and assigns forever.
