GRANT OF EASEMENT
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, a municipal
corporation, hereinafter called "Grantor1', for a valuable
consideration, does hereby grant to SAN DIEGO GAS & ELECTRIC
COMPANY, a corporation, hereinafter called "Grantee", an
easement for road and public utility purposes, over and
across Grantor's land situated in the City of Carlsbad,
County of San Diego, State of California, described as
follows :
That certain strip of land 20.00 feet in width
over and across the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 12 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Meridian, in the County of San Diego, State
of California, according to Official Plat thereof, the center line being more particularly described as follows:
the land conveyed to Carlsbad Municipal Water District by Deed recorded May 8, 1968 at Recorder's File/Page No.
76853 of Official Records of said County of San Diego, distant thereon North 49' 54' 33" East, 43.01 feet from the most Southerly corner thereof, said point being a point in
the arc of a 596.17 foot radius curve concave Northeasterly, a radial line to said point bears South 32' 19' 53" West; thence from said POINT OF BEGINNING and Northwesterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of .To 39' 36"
a distance of 79.70 feet; thence tangent North 50' 00' 31" West, 60 feet, more or less to the Northwesterly line of the above described Carlsbad Municipal Water District's land.
Beginning at a point in the Southeasterly line of
Grantor also g$ants the right for the slopes of the cuts and/or fills to encroach upon the lands adjacent
to the herein granted easement to the extent necessary to accomplish the construction and maintenance of a road and public utilities within said easement.

Maerkle , known to me to be the President, and W. D. Carmichael , known to me to be the Secretary of the Board ot Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District , the municipal water district that executed the within Instrument, and known to me to be the persons who executed the within Instrument on behalf of the municipal water district therein named, and acknowledged to me that such municipal water district executed the same.
