An easement for water line purposes situated in a portion of the
Southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 12 South, Range 4 West,
San Bernardino Meridian, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San
Diego, State of California, said easement being 20 feet in width,
10 feet on each side of the following described centerline:
Beginning at the Northerly terminus of that certain course described as "North 23' 51' 39" West 660.08 feet" in Parcel 3-B as condemned
in fee simple to State of California in that final order of condem-
nation under Superior Court case 252112, recorded July 18, 1963, as
file 125935; thence North 26' 55' 29" West along the Westerly right
of way line of the San Diego freeway as described in the aforementioned
Parcel 3-B 255.74 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING: thence South 88'
10' 08" West 667.69 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the Northeast and having a radius of 533.00 feet: thence Westerly
and Northerly along said curve and through a central angle of 28O
51' 27" a distance of 268.45 feet to a point on the Southeasterly
boundary of proposed Carlsbad Tract No. 71-2.1 from which the most
Easterly corner of said proposed tract bears North 27' 01' 35" East
33.00 feet.
The side lines of the above described easement shall be lengthened
or shortened to terminate in the Westerly right of way line of the
aforesaid San Diego freeway.

This is to certify that the interest in real property
conveyed by the easement, dated February 16, 1972, from OCCIDENTAL
PETROLEUM LAND AND DEVELOPMENT CORP., a California corporation,
as Grantor, to CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, a Municipal
Water District organized and existing under the Municipal Water
District Act of 1911, as amended, is hereby accepted by order of
the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT on
March 1, 1972, and the Grantee consents to recordation thereof by
its duly authorized officer.
