Pursuant to the requirements of Section 5248 of the Streets
and Highways Code, notice is hereby given that a contract has been
awarded by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad to ----- -
- - - CARLSBAD PIPELINES, INC. for the construction of sanitary
sewers, appurtenances and appurtenant work in Assessment District
Mo. 2-1966, and relating to the following described property:
That all the aforesaid work or improvement shall be con-
structed at the grades, along the lines, between the points of the
imensions, at the places and in the manner shown on the plans (which
nclude profiles and detailed drawings) for said work, designated
Construction Plans of Sanitary Sewer System in Park Drive, Locust
Avenue, Harrison Street, Hillside Drive, Adams Street, Highland Drive

49-8, A.D. 2-1966, consisting of twenty-one (21) sheets, and in
accordance with said plans and with the specifications for said work,
ich are designated "Contract Documents and Specifications, Assess-
nent District No. 2-1966"
This shall constitute notice to all persons that all propertjy
within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district shall be
assessed at the time of the confirmation of the assessment under
Chapter 16 (commencing at Section 5360) of Part 3 of this division
(Division 7) to pay the costs of the improvement in proportion to
the benefits which said property receives from the improvement, not-
withstanding the acquisition of any such property by the State or
any of its agencies, or by any county, city, municipality or other
jublic or municipal corporation.
Reference is made to the minutes of the action taken by
the City Counbil of the City of Carlsbad on file in my office for
ful1 particulars.
