Project Description:
A. Installation of 60' Faux Monoeucalyptus:
1. Installation of four (4) Omni-Directional antennas on faux
eucalyptus tree
2. Installation of two (2) receive only Omni-Directional antennas
on faux eucalyptus tree
3. Installation of one (1) 4' 0 performance microwave dishes on
faux eucalyptus tree
4. Installation of 1' x 1' SCADA antenna on faux eucalyptus tree
B. Installation of prefabricated 1 O'x24' shelter on concrete pad
C. Installation of 60KW enclosed emergency generator with a 200
gallon diesel tank on concrete pad
1. Installation of prefabricated generator enclosure
D Installation of 14' H. CMU retaining wall
DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
Generator contractor must submit construction plans directly to Fire as
deferred submittal for installation of generator and 200 gallon diesel tank.

E. Except in an emergency posing immediate public health and safety
threat as allowed for emergency work under the provisions of the
Carlsbad City Code pertaining to the Noise Ordinance, site construction
and maintenance activities in or within 100 feet of site will only occur
between 7:00 a.m. and sunset, Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m. to
sunset on Saturdays). Work is not planned for Saturday's, should work
be necessary. No work will be done on Sundays and the following
Federal holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
F. The County shall conduct annual aesthetic inspections of the Regional
Communications Systems facility to include both the mono-eucalyptus
tree communications tower and the communications equipment shelter.
The Sheriff's Department will ensure any required maintenance is
performed including, but not limited to, replacing foliage as a result of
leaf drop, replacing worn or torn screen/socks, repainting equipment
predisposition to fading. The County will also inspect and provide for
the upkeep of the communications the equipment shelter and
associated facility improvements.
ACCESSIBILITY DISCLAIMER
This project is an unoccupied radio tower facility and, according to written
interpretation from the California Department of the States Architects,
is exempt from disable access requirements.

EFFICIENT LANDSCAPE ORDINANCE FOR PROJECTS OF LESS THAN 2.500 SQUARE FEET.
COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOU.OWING ITEMS IS MANDATORY:
1. FOR N()t1U'!ESIDENT1AL AREAS, INSTALL CLIMATE ADAPTED PLANTS THAT REQUIRE OCCASIONAL, LITnE OR NO SUMMER WATER (AVERAGE WUCOL.S PLANT FACTOR 0.3) FOR 100% OF THE Pl.ANT AREA EXCLUDING EDIBLES ANO AREAS USING RECYCLED WATER.
2. A MINIMUM THREE INCH (3") LAYER OF MULCH SHAU. BE APPLIED ON ALL EXPOSED SOIL SURFACES OF PLANTING AREAS EXCEPT IN 1\JRF AREAS, CREEPING OR ROOTING GROUNOCOVERS, OR OIRECT SEEOING APPLICATIONS WHERE MULCH IS CONTRAINDICATED.
3. ALITOMATIC IRRIGATION CONTROLLERS ARE REQUIRED AND MUST USE EVAPOTRANSPIRATION OR SOIL MOISTURE SENSOR DATA AND llTILIZE A RAIN SENSOR.
4. IRRIGATION CONTROLLERS SHAU. BE OF A TYPE WHICH DOES NOT LOSE PROGRAMMING DATA IN THE EVENT THE PRIMARY POWER SOURCE IS INTERRUPTED.

7. ALL IRRIGATION EMISSION DEVICES MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS SET IN THE ANSI STANOARO, ASABEJICC 802-2014. "GLANDSCAPE IRRIGATION SPRINKLER AND EMITTER STANDARD."H ALL SPRINKLER HEADS INSTALLED IN THE LANDSCAPE MUST DOCUMENT A OISTRIBUTION UNIFORMITY LOW QUARTER OF o.65 OR HIGHER USING THE PROTOCOL OEFINEO IN ASABE/ICC 802•2014.
8. AREAS LESS THAfll TEN (10) FEET IN WIOTH IN ANY DIRECTION SHAU. BE IRRIGATED WITH SUBSURFACE IRRIGATION OR OTHER MEAffS THAT PRODUCES f'fO RUf'fOFF OR OVERSPRAY.
