Included In the final worklug dra11ing set shall be planting aad irrigation plans, both at a minimum scale of 1·-20·-o·, details and specifications. 2. The irrigation plan shall include the act area of the site and indicate the location of irrigation heads, pipes, point of · connection, electric remote control valves~ backflo~ prevent~r (per City.of Carlsbad standards}, gate valves, and quick coupler or hose bibs (spaced at 50 .. o.c. minimum in the irrigated 8['eas). A permanent underground automatic irrigation system shell be installed in all landscaped areas inside the property. This system shall be capable of providing the proper amount of precipitation for the particular type of plant material used, The irrigation plsn shall be certified by the designing landscape architect thot the irrigation system has been designed for water conservation and shall utilize a wale[' sensing controller (tens1o~eter). 3. Soll condition shall be indicated on tl1e worki1,e drawln~s and a soils test shall be required by the landscape cont['actor to determine quantities o( soil additives required for normal growth. All soil preparation shall be accomplished prior to plantlne, 4. Trees shall be planted from a minimum 15 gallon container with at least the ~ialmum required num~er trees bei11g specimen size (24'' box) or larger. · · · 6. All trees, shrubs, and plant grovth in ['equired landscaped areas shall be controlled by pruning, trimmlne or other approved method:, so that there will be no interference with the lnstallatlon, maintenance or repai[' of any public utility or fire lane, restrict pedestrians or vehicular access or vislon or coastitute a traffic hazard. , 9.
