RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BOARD
OF THE CARLSBAD BUILDING AUTHORITY
APPROVING CERTAIN LEASES WITH THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Governing
Board a lease entitled "Carlsbad Civic Center Ground Lease,"
dated as of November 1, 1967, by and between the City of
Carlsbad and the Carlsbad Building Authority providing for the
leasing to the Authority the site described in Exhibit "A"
attached to said Ground Lease; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Governing
Board a lease entitled "Carlsbad Civic Center Lease," dated as
of November 1, 1967, by and between the City of Carlsbad and
the Carlsbad Building Authority providing for the leasing to
the City of Carlsbad the Facilities as therein defined;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Governing Board of the Carlsbad
Building Authority DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as
follows:
Section 1. That the Carlsbad Civic Center Ground Lease
and the Carlsbad Civic Center Lease, referred to in the recitals
hereof, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Chairman of the Authority be and is
hereby authorized to execute said Leases and the Secretary of
said Authority is hereby authorized to attest said Leases and to
affix thereto the official seal of the Authority.
Section 3. That upon execution of said Ground Lease by
the parties thereto, the Ground Lease may be recorded and by the
adoption of this resolution this Governing Board of said Authority

does hereby consent to the recordation thereof. The Secretary
is authorized to certify a copy of this resolution and attach
such certified copy of the Ground Lease prior to the recordation,
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of November,
1967.
