2 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARLSBAD GOLF LODGING BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT
3 DISTRICT, ELECTING ITS BOARD CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR

^ WHEREAS, at its November 27, 2012 meeting, the Carlsbad City Council adopted
g Ordinance No. CS-194 forming the Carlsbad Golf Lodging Business Improvement District
^ (CGLBID); and
g WHEREAS, at its January 30,2013 meeting, the CGLBID Board elected its Vice Chair;
£j and
JQ WHEREAS, the elected Chair has vacated his position and the Vice Chair's term has
expired, so new officers need to be elected; and
WHEREAS, the Board conducted an election of officers at its May 21,2015 meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors ofthe Carlsbad
Golf Lodging Business Improvement District, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the CGLBID Board hereby elects Tim Stripe to
serve as Chair of the CGLBID for a term of two-years.
3. That the CGLBID Board hereby elects Ulrich Samietz to
serve as Vice -Chair of the CGLBID for an initial term of one-year.
