RESOLUTION NO. 2019-1
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARLSBAD TOURISM BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT,
ELECTING ITS BOARD VICE-CHAIR
EXHIBIT 2
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Carlsbad adopted Ordinance No. NS-778
enacting Chapter 3.37 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code on November 15, 2005 thereby creating
the Carlsbad Tourism Business Improvement District (CTBID);
WHEREAS, at its January 24, 2018 meeting, the CTBID Board elected Ulrich Samietz
as Vice-Chair; and
WHEREAS, Ulrich Samietz resigned hid position on the CTBID Board in August 2018,
so a new Vice-Chair needs to be elected; and
WHEREAS, the Board conducted an election of officers at its January 16, 2019 meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad
Golf Lodging Business Improvement District, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the CTBID Board hereby elects Robert Rauch
as Vice-Chair of the CTBID for a term of two-years.
