WBXREAS, the rriembers of the City council of the City
of Carlsbad are defendants in the suit brought by Clifton
Williams against said Council; now
TmEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CiQ Council of
the City of Carlsbad t'hat Attorney T. Bruce Smith act as
attorney for the Coupcil in the suit brought against it by
Clifton '8illiams, and that T, Bruce Smith be empowered at his
discretion, to obtain associate counsel, and that he be
authorized $50,00 per day in Court,
Passed and adopted this 16th day of July, 1952, by
the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Ede, Sutton, Grober, Castorena,
