out an Inaugupation Day for the new City on July 19, 1952, with
appropriate ceremonies, and

mishes to express its appreciation and thanks to all such organ-
izations and individuals for thsir splend id effopts an3 assistance;

Th33R3:FORE, BE IT RESOLVED t’mt the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad extend thanks to the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce
for its work in arranging and carryicg out a xost successful In-
auguration Day for the new City on July 19, 1952, and also thanks
to all organizations and individuals who contributed to the success
of the day,
Passed and adopted this 22nd day of July, 1952, by the
following vote :
Ayes : Councilmen Sutton, Ede , Castorena, lkyor

Nays: None.
Absent: Councilman Grober.
