it was moved that the City Council employ MP, U, Max Palkowski as
Police Chief‘ for the City of Carlsbad for a pmbationarg period
ending June 30, 1953, at a salary of $400.00 pel? month., plus mile-
age fo:r use of his car, a11 equipment to be furnished by him except
breast bad.ge and cap insignia; and that his eriployment begin in”
d-iately or as soon as he is available for duty; now
TI-EREFON3, BE IT RESOLVXD that Ek. 3, Max Palkoavski
be employed pursuant to the above coriditions at a salary of $400.00
per month,
Passed and adopted this 23rd day of September, 1952, by
the following vote:
