HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-09-30; City Council; Resolution 18KESOLUTXOm No, 18 WHBR'EAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has, by Ordinance no, '(015, expressed its intention to vacate that portion of Ponderosa Drive, Carlsbad, California, hereinafter described; and trvfiERX&, notices of intention of vacation of said street have been posted pursuant to law; and wE3REAS, a hearing has been held by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at ?:GO o'clock p.m. on the 30th day of September, 1952, at its regular meeting place, and no obsections having been expressed at that time, THEREFORE, BX IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, that the public interest and convenience of the City require that the following work be done at the time and in the manner hereinafter prescribed, BOW TRX?3E=PORE, said Council hereby orders that, That portion of Ponderosa 3rive as shown on %Tap of Terrasnar Unit Bo. 1 in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof Bo. 2696, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County September 6, 1950, described as follows: Beginning at the most Southerly corner of Lot 17 of said Terramar Unit 330. 1; thence Borth 59 degrees 21 minutes 10 seconds East along the Southeasterly line of said Lot to an intersection with the North- westerly prolongation of that portion of the South- xvesterfy line of Sumach Drive having a bearing of South 30 degrees 38 minutes 50 seconds East; thence South 30 degrees 38 minutes 50 seconds Egst along said prolongation a distance of 70 feet; thence South 59 degrees 21 minutes 10 seconds West to an intessec- tion with a line bearing South 21 degrees 00 minutes East for the point of beginning; thence Borth 21 degrees 00 minutes Vest to the point of beginning, be vacated from public use and title to the land previously subject thereto revert to the respective owners thereof free Prom the public easement for street purposes. rt is further ordered that the respective owners who accept Gitle of that vacated portion described 'above shall cause the street, curb, and drainage facilities to be restored in a workmanlike fashion, said restoration to be subject to the approval of the Public Works Director of the City of Car1sba.d. It is further ordered that the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this order attested by the Clerk to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Diego.
