WE%?.3AS, the Police Force of the C~ty of Carlsbad
needs additional assistance during the two holiday week-ends,
a nd
TJFXREAS, the Chief of Police should be given,author-
ity to engage an additional patrolman over the two holiday
week-ends; now
TEEREFORE, 33 IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, tkt the Chief of Folice be, and he is
hereby authorized to employ one additional patrolman during
the two holiday week-ends, i. e., from tlw afternoon of
24 Gecember through 28 Decerriber, 1952, and from the after-
noon of 33 December 1952 through 3 January 1953.
Passed and adopted this 36th day of December by the
following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Ede, Sutton, Castorena, Nayor
PTays: None.
Absent: Councilman GTober,
