WiEREAS, Ordinance No. 2005 of the City of Carlsbad prescribes
that the electtian of officers of the Carlsbad Volunteer Fire DepatmenL
ehall be approved by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad VoPunteer Fire Department did ,on 5th day
of January,l953,hold an election for the purpose of filling such
vacancies as did exist and did elect the followhg named as the
officers from She 5th day of January,l953, until tho 30th day of June,
1953 :

BE IT RZSOLVED that the City Counc3.3 of the City of Carlsbad has
hereby approved the selection of the above mentioned officers of the
Carlsbad Volunteer Fire Department.
