No. 39
MH3EZAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has, by
Ordinance No, 7016, expressed its intention to vacate that portion
of Ocean Street, Carlsbad, California, hereafter described; and
WHEREAS, notices of intention of vaaxtion of sai4 street have been
posted pursuant to law; and
WHBREBS, hearing has been held by the City Council of the city of
Y Carlsbad at 7:OO o'clock p.~. on the 3rd day of March
1953, at its regular meeting place, and no objections having been
expressed at that time,
THEDORE, BE IT RESOLVZD by the City Council of the City of
Cmlsbad, California, that the public interest and convenience of the
city require that the following work be done at the time and in the
manner hereinafter prescribed.
NOW TAEBPOFLE, said Council hereby orders that,
That portion of Carlsbad, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San'Diego, State of California, according to Nap thereof Mo. 365, filed in the Office'of the County Becorder of San Diego County, February 2, 1887, being a portion of Ocean Street, formerly California. State Highway Division VI3, Route 2, de- scribed as follows:
the Southeaster1 line of Block 14 of said Carlsbaq, distant thereon South 55 27' West 69.56 feet from the most Southerly corner of said Block 14, being the rnost Ezsterly corner of that portion of Ocean Street vacated and closed to public use'
by Besolution of' the Board of Supervisors of San Diego County, a copy of which was'filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, January 14, 1948, as Document No. 4076, in Book 2614, page 255; thence along the Southeasterly prolongation' of the Northeasterly line of said closed portion of Ocean Street, South 30' 56: 20" East to the Southwesterly prolongatibn of the center line of Oak Street as shown on said F1a.p No. 365; and the beginning of a tangent 25.80 foot radius curve, concave Westerly; thence Southerly along said curve 24.20 feet through a.n angle of 53* 44' 36" foot radius curve concave Easterly; thence Southerly along said curve 24.01 feet through an angle of 53O 19: 16" to the intersection of the Southwesterly prolongation of the Northwes- terly line of Block 19 of Carlsbad with the southwesterly Jim of said Ocean Street; thence along said Southwesterly line' of Ocean Street, North 30° 31' West 80.16 feet to said Southwesterly

City of Carlsbad.,
It is further ordered that the City Clerk shall cause a certified
copy of' thls order attested by the Clerk to be recorded in the office
of the County Becorder of the County of San Diego.
