WHEREAS, U, %ax Palkowski has, as of June 30, 1953,
satisfactorily completed his probationary period as Police Chief
of the City of Carlsbad, and
VJHEjliEAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, at
an adjoumed meeting held on June 30, 1953, authorized the per-
manent employment of said U . Xax Palkowski as Police Chief of
the City of Carlsbad;
KOW, THEXIEFOl?E, BE IT RESOLVED that U. Eax Palkowski be
employed as Police Chief of the City of Carlsbad, as of July 1,
1953, at a salary of $400.00 per month, plus mileage for use of
his car.
PASSED, APPROVED AKD ADOPTED this 30th day of June, 1953,
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Castorena, Ede, Grober, Nayor McClellan.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Sutton.
