BE IT RmOLVED, that the Road Department of the County of San
Diego be, and it is hereby authorized to provide routine maintenance
to the streets within the City of Carlsbad, to and including August 15,
1952, for which services the City of Carlsbad agrees to pay to the
County of San Diego the actual cost incurred by the Road Department
of the County of San Diego in performing such maintenance work,
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Road Departrnent of the County
of San Diego be and it is hereby authorized to perform necessary ser-
vices for the City of Carlsbad, to and including August 15, 1952, in
accordance with the Ordinance 7005 adopted by the CZty Council of the
City of Carlsbad, and to retain all fees received as payment for the
performance of these services,
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED, that Pr, J, B, Bond be and he
hereby is appointed as Acting Public Works Director, who shall be the
enforcing authority for the City of Carlsbad in all matters relating
to public works; said Acting Public Works Director is authorized to
incur reasonable expenses in the performance of his duties.
PASSED AM) ADOPTED by the City Council of' the Cfty of Carlsbad,
State of California, this 29th day of July, 1952, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Sutton, Eae, Castorem, Grober and Mayor Me Clellan.
