The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
that 12a.x Ewald- be and. is hereby employed as the Building Irispector
of the City of Cmlsbad for i? term to comerce July I, 1953, z.nd to
terminate December 31., 1953.
It Is further resolved that the salary of sFid 3ufldinZ Inspector
sh.iaL1 be aed" the ssme is hereby fixed- at Two Hund-red Fifty ($250.00)
aollsrs per month, PIUS an Zidd-itio-cal allowance of PhreEty-five

f umished by the Building Inscector.

It is further resolved thFt the said auilding Inspector shall
perform 211 duties delegated- to the Building Insyector or i3uilding
0ffZcia.l in the ordinames of the City of CErlsbsd- as they presently
eyist or as they may hereafter be amerded, excepting therefrom the
inspection and installztion of septic tanks,
It is further resolved that the Buildlng Inspector shall be
reqvired to devote such hours as are Tecessary for the proper per-
formance of his duties as ?rescribed by ordinarce,
