HomeMy WebLinkAbout1953-11-03; City Council; Resolution 80WHEREAS, on August 1, 1950, a freeway agreement was entered into be- tween the Departrnent of Public Works of the State of California, herein- after referred to as "the State" and the County of San Diego, hereinafter
referred to as nthe County", which agreement was revfsed by a supplemental freeway agreement on February 20, 1951, by the terms of which the State in constructing said freeway, road XI-SD-2-B, (now XI-SD-2-Cbd), agreed to make certain changes affecting county roads and the County, among others matters, agreed to resume control and maintenance of such roads upon notiee of completion; and
WHEEEAS, because of the incorporation of the City of Carlsbad, the
said county roads are now within the said City of Carlsbad; and
l?HXRE2AS, pursuant to said agreemen%, the State has constructed, re-
WXEWS, the City Comcil of the City of Carlsbad has discussed the
located and reconstructed certain County roads, now city streets, and
advisability of accepting the relinquishment of said roads;
NOW, THEREFOB, BB IT ESC&VED that the City Council of the Cfty of
Carlsbad does, in behalf of the City of Carlsbsd, agree to accept those portions of relocated city streets and superseded state highways in said
City, together with the right-of -way and appurtenances thereof, described as follows:
