City of Carlsbad more particularly described as :
That portion of Tract lS7 of Ca.?nlsbad Lands, in the County of SaE Diego, State of California, accord- ing to Map thereof No. 1661, filed. in the office of the County Becorder of Sa.n Diego County March 1, 1915, desclaibed as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Norgherly line of said Tract 117, distant thereon North 89 57' $Test 650.05
feet from the Northeasterlp corner of said *act 117; thence North 89' 57' Yest along said Xortherly line 193.06 feet to the Northeasterly corner of that certain tract of lmtd conveyed to Augusta Asmus by deed dated October 213, 1922, and recgrded in 3ook 908, Page 423 of Deeds; thence South 34 33' East along the Easterly' line of said Asmus' land and along the Easterly line of
that certain tract of land conveyed to W. W. Brown and &ma Brown, husband and wife, by deed dated Februapy 17, 1925 and recorded in Book 1065, page 308 of ileeds, 240 feet to the true point of beginning of the herein des- cribed property; thence continue South 34' 33 ' East
225 feet; thence North 55' 27' East 159.36 feet to a
point in a line which bears South 34' 33' East from the

AND TJHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the advisability of
accepting such offer,
NOY 'I'HEREPO;1E, BE IT WSOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Car1sba.d accepts such offer from Mrs. Houston.
E33 IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and. the City Clerk of the
City of Ca.rlsbad be and the same hereby ape instructed to execute in the
name of the City of Carlsbad, all papers, instruments and/or other documents
that are required for the purpose of effectuating the sale,
BE IT fi'URTH338 iBSOLVED that the City Clerk be, and he hereby is
instkucted to pay from the General Funds of the City of Car1sba.d the amount
of THBdE THOUSAND FIVE I-iTJNDZED ($3,5OO.OO) DOLLA.&S, plus any peal estate
charges to Mrs. Houston, or to other Farties so entitled.
