municipal election is to be held in the City 'mF?EAS, a

l'C-EREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in relation
thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and/or polling place cards
to the registered voters of the City, and it will facilitate such mailing if the Registrar of Voters of the County of Sari Dieqo will prepare and furnish
tho City the imprinting of the names and addresses orthe registered voters
of said City on mailing labels or stickers furnished by the City; and
'J"REAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall be paid

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE and OR=ER, as folloP's:
Section 1, That it is deemed economical and satisfactory to the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad that the Regist'rar of Voters of the County
of prepare and furnish to said City, for use in conducting said
election to be held on RP - , the fmprinting of the names and
addresses of the registered~~~er~~o~'~~i&City, on mailing labels or s-tickers
furnished by the City, and aocordingly and pursuant to the provisions of Section 9483 of the Elections Code of' the State of California, this City Council hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said County of sa
to permit the Registrar of Voters of said County to render such
serv%es to the City in connection with the conduot of said election.

Section 2. That the estimated cost of said services is $12*00 , and
it is hereby ordered that the sum of $ 3. 0 (beiw an amountTxCess

said county when the work is completed and goods supplied upon presentation
