RZSOLUTION NO. 119
RESOLUTION REQUESTING AND EfilPOWERING THIS COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO THROUGH ITS L4PPBOPBIATE COUNTY OSPIC2RS AND EMPLOYEES TO 3hTORCE THE PROVISIONS
OF ORDINANCE NO, 5008 OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, IKPEKtN THE CITY OF CABLSBAD,
VBERBAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego
on the 27th day of Agril, 1954, adopted San Diego County Ordinance
No. 1387 (New Series); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad did on the
3&@ day of June , 1954, pass, approve and adopt Ordinance
No. 5008 of the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, said. Ordinance No. 5008 of the City of Carlsbad adopts
by reference the provisions of Ordinance No. 1387 (New Series) of
the County of San Diego, and
'InMEREAS, on the 30th day of December, 1952, the City of Carlsbad,
entered into an agreement with the County of Sari Diego whereby the
County of' San Diego pursuant to the terms of such agreement was to
furnish certain public health services to the City of Carlsbad.
NOW THEXEFOFE, BE IT RESOLVED AND DECLUED that the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad hereby request the County of San Diego to
enforce the provisions of Ordinance No, 5008 of the City of Carlsbad
within the teritorial limits of the City of Carlsbad, pursuant to the
agreement above referenced whlzh has heretofore been entered into by
and between the City of Czrlsbad and the County of San Diego.
BE IT FURTHER RXSOLVED APE) DECLMLED that Ordinance No. 5008 of
the City of Carlsbad imposes upon the incorporated territory of
Carlsbad the same regulatory and penal provisions as are contained
in San Diego County Ordinance No. 1387 (New Series),
BE IT FUBTHZR BZSOLVED AND STATED that the City of Carlsbad does
hereby empower the appropriate Countv officers and employees designated

by the County Board of Supervisors to enforce the
Ordinance No. 5008 of the City of Carlsbad within
territory of the City of Carlsbad.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the City Clerk shall cause
two (2) certified copies of Ordinance No. 5008 of the City of' Carlsbad,
together with two (2) copies of this resolution to be sent to the
Clerk of the County Board of Supervisors.
PASSED, AFPROVED BND AD03PTED this 1st day of June, 1954, by the
following vote, to-wlt:
AYES : Councilmen Ede , Castorena, Helton, Sutton, Mayor PlcClellan.
NAYS: None
ABSENT: Hone.
