RESOLUTION REQUESTING COItPROUEB OF TEiE STATEOOF CALIFOBNIA TO
TRANSDEB CHAPTER 20. STATUTES OF 1946 F'UESDS TO TilE CITY OF CARPISBAD,
WHEREAS the City of Carlsbad has heretofore been allocated a
certain portion of funds under and pursuant to the Act commonly referred
to as the "Construction and Employment Act". (Chapter 20, Statutes of
1946) ; and
WHEREAS the City of Carlsbad has heretofore assigned such
funds to the previously existing Carlsbad Sanitary District; and,
WHEREAS the Carlsbad Sanitary District has been dissolve& and
merged with the City of Carlsbad;
MOW THBREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AND REQUESTED that the Con-
troller Of The State of California be requested, and he is hereby
requested to re-transfer all unexpended funds heretofore asskgned to
the Carlsbad Sanitary District by the City of Carlsbad, said funds having
been originally allocated to the City of Carlsbad under and pursuant
the provisions of Chapter 20, Statutes of 1946, to the City of Carlsbad;
together with all entitlements existing pursuant to applications here-
tofore made by the Carlsbad Sanitary District and approved by the
Controller of the State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed
to cause two certified copies of this resolution to be forwarded to
ROBZRT C. KfHKWOOi3, State Controller of the State of California.
PASSED, APPROVED Aim ADOPTED this 21st day of September, by
the following vote, to wit:
