Council of the Ci%y of Carlsbad invited sealed bids for one
used hte model street sweeper in good condition to be sup-
plied the City of Carlsb;?d, in accordance with conditions
specified in said Notice Inviting aids; and

the 17th day of February, 1955, arid the 24th da,v of February,
1955; and
\JKEIEXS, the City Council opened the only Sid received
in response to said Notice Inviting Bids on the 1st day of'
14aarch, 1955, at 8:OO 3, K. , said bid having been submitted by
Brown-devis Industrial 2quipment Corngany , 6550 Zast Wnshingtoa
Boulevard, Los Angeles 22, California;
NOV, TEiEWFCW, BE IT EXSOLVED by the Council of the
City of CarLsbad that the bid of Brown-Bevis Industrisl Equip-
ment Company of Los Angeles, California, be accepted; and the
City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby orl?ered and di-
rected to place an order for said street sweeper in accordance
wlth the tems of the bid as received, to be purchased on a
cash basis,
PASSED, BFPROVED AND ADO?LYED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, this 1st day of Warch, 1955,
by the following vote::
