4 resolve as follows:
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby
5 That the City Manager be authorized, instructed and

7 Bank of San Diego, Carlsbad Branch, for the purchase of that
empowered to open an escrow at the Security Trust and Savings
8 property described as:
9 All that portion of Tract 117 of Carlsbad Lands, in the County of San Diego, State of California,
office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, 10 according to Map thereof No. 1661, filed in the
11 March 1, 1915, described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of said Tract 117, distant thereon North 89O 57' West 358.58 feet from the Northeasterly corner of said Tract 117; thence North 89O 57' West along said Northerly line
485.07 feet to the Northeasterly corner of that certain tract of land conveyed to Augusta Asmus by Deed dated October 20, 1922, and recorded in Book 908, page 423 of Deeds; thence South 34* 33' East along the Easterly line of said Asmus' land and along the Easterly line of that certain tract of land conveyed to W, W. Brown and Anna Brown, husband and wife, by deed dated February 17, 1925, and recorded in Book 1065, page 308 of Deeds,-465 feet; thence . North 55O 27' East 399.28 feet to intersection with a line that bears South 34O 33' East through the point of beginning; thence North 34O 33' West 189.55 feet to the point of beginning:
21 EXCEPTING therefrom that portion thereof conveyed to
22 recorded November 30, 1937, being the portion lying
23 line of the above described property, 650.05 feet
24 running South 34O 33' East to a point on the South-

26 of a line beginning at a point on the North line of
27 Northeasterly corner of said Tract 117, and running
28 line of the above described property.
Alice S. Houston by Deed dated September 25, 1937,
Southwest of a line beginning at a point on the North
from the Northeasterly corner of said Tract 117, and
easterly line of the above described property.
ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom that portion lying Northeast
the above described property, 466.58 feet from the
South 34O 33' East to a point on the Southeasterly
29 Said escrow to provide that the City is to pay $3,010.00, plus
30 the cost of title insurance and all escrow expenses.
31 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Carlsbad does
32 hereby consent to the acquisition of such property in the name

1 and in behalf of the City of Carlsbad and that this resolution

constitutes the consent of the City of Carlsbad for the recordation
of a deed to the aforesaid property in the name of the City of
4 Carlsbad.
