RESOLUTION AWARDING A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC NECESSITY AND CONVENIENCE TO ANTHONY A, MRON FOR THE COLLECTION OF GARBAGE AND RUBSISH IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ,

on November 15, 1954, ANTHONY A. MARRON made
application for a Certificate of Public Necessity and Convenience;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad held hearings
on said application at the meeting of December 2, 1954, with ad-
journments thereof, and awarded to said applicant the certificate
of necessity and convenience; and
WEFIEAS, on August 16, 1955, ANTHONY A, MARRON requested a
change in the equipment allowed pursuant to the original application;
and
?%-EREAS, the City Council having duly considered the request
for a change in said certificate of necessity and convenience;
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City Council finds that
public necessity and convenience require the issuance of a certi-
ficate of necessity and convenience to ANTHONY A. MARRON for the
collection of garbage and rubbish within the City of Carlsbad,
pursuant to Ordinance No. 50204 of the City of Carlsbad,
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND OFlDERED that the applicant shall
utilize the equipment and conform to the terms offered as contained
in his application of November 15, 1954, as amended by his appli-
cation of August 15, 1955, excepting that the applicant may paint
his trucks a dark green color in lieu of the color of white as
set forth in the original application,
IT IS FUriTHER RESOLED that this certificate of necessity and
convenience shall remain in force and effect until the 30th day
of June, 1958, except and unless terminated prior thereto pursuant
to the terms of Section No. 24 of Ordinance No, 5020-A,

IT I5 FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall constitute
the certificate of necessity and convenience, and that the City
3 Clerk is hereby instructed to transmit a copy of this resolution,
4 duly certified, to ANTHONY A, IW\RRON, P, 0, Box 124, Carlsbad,
5 California,

7 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED the 16th day of August, 1955,
8 by the following vote:
9 AYES: Castorena, Helton, Sutton, McClellan,
10 NOES: None
