A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD APPROVING THE PROPOSED LAND USE MAP AND REVISED ZONING ORDINANCE, AND DECLARING THAT SUCH LAND USE MA€? AND ZONING ORDINANCE SHALL CONSTITUTE A PART OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.

7 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad

adopted a resolution on the 28th day of August, 1956, recommending
to the City Council that the City Council adopt the revised zoning
ordinance and zoning map, denominated Ordinance No, 9060, with
attached Exhibits; and
WHEREAS, the City council, caused notice of time and place
of hearing to be published in the Carlsbad Journal at least ten
days before the hearing; and
WHEREAS, on October 9, 1956, the City Council held a hearing
on the proposed ordinance with attached land use map; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing the City Council received
the recommendations, petitions, protests and comments of all
individuals desiring to be heard; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered each and every recom-
mendations petition, protest and comment raised by each and all
parties at said public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council found that the proposed revised
ordinance with attached land use map, in the exact form as trans-
mitted by the Planning Commission, is concurred with by the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
does declare and resolve as follows:
1, That the proposed Ordinance No, 9060, with attached
land use map, is hereby declared to constitute a part of the master
plan of the City of Carlsbad,
2, IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposed ordinance

No, 9060, with attached land use map, is hereby approved by the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
3, IT IS FURTHER ESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and he
hereby is instructed to endorse the land use map, attached to
Ordinance No, 9060, to show that it has been approved by the City
council of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 4th day of October, 1956, by the following
vote, to wit:

Castorena, Hilton, Ledgerwood, Robinson and Baird
ABSENT: None
of the City of Cirlsbad, Carlsbad, California
