RESOLUTION NO, 235 RESOLUTION APPROVING TENTATIVE PW OF PACIFIC TEFEACE, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 11th day of January, 1957 recommended to the City Council that the tentative map of PACIFIC TERRACE be approved, subject to the conditions hereinafter enumerated in this resolution; and WEEEREM, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 35th day of January, 1957 considered the recommendation of the Planning Commission; NOW, TmREFOFiE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative map of PACIFIC TERRACE, subject to the following require- ments and conditions being performed by the subdivider: (a) inch fire hydrant on Redwood Avenue, as proposed, between Lots 11 and 12 of the proposed subdivision, PACIFIC TERRACE, (b) That all buildings in this subdivision be That the subdividers install a standard 6 connected to the public sewer system of the City of Carlsbad, with the subdivider to install the public sewer in the proposed subdivision, together with the connecting sewer, in accordance with the specifications, ordinances, regulations of the City of Carlsbad and the instructions and directions of the City Engineer of the City of Carlsbad. (c) feet of 6 inch asbestos cement pipe from Garfield Street to the Atcheson, Topeka and Santa Fe right of way in accordance with the plans and specifica- tions of the Carlsbad Mutua3 Water Company, and That the subdivider install approximately 750 the directions and instructions of the Manager of the Carlsbad Mutual Water company. (d) proper drainage throughout the subdivision so as to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water, said drainage facilities to be constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications of the City of Carlsbad and the instructions of the City Ehgineer of the City of Carlsbad; said required drainage faci- lity to consist of either a drop-catch basin and pipe in and under Redwood Avenue, or a concrete invert of sufficient size to carry the water run-off, (e) That sever and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench in any part of the subdivision, BE IT FLTRTJXR RESOLVED, that the subdivider shall be re- quired to dedicate and improve in accordance with the foregoing requirements a right of way to the City of Carlsbad, said right of way extending from Garfield Street northeasterly a distance of 125.96 feet, a right of way 47 feet in width, in lieu of the usually required 50 foot right of way, said dedicated right of way That the subdivider be required to provide I to be surfaced the same width usually required for a 50 foot right of way.
