RESOLUTION NO, 239
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF REAL PROPERTY, AND RECORDATION OF
DEED BY CITY W"ER.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby
resolve :
I, That the City Council of the City of Garlsbad herewith
accepts in behalf of the people of Garlsbad title to the follow-
ing described real property:
That portion of Block 1 of Mull's Addition to Carlsbad in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No, 514 .filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, March 22, 1888, and that portion of Lot 29 of Optimo Tract No, 2, in the City of Carlsbad, County of Sari Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No, 2151 filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, March 4, 1929, described as a whole as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Westerly line of said Lot 29 distant thereon North Oo 52' West 300 feet from the Southwesterly corner of said Lot 29; thence North 89O 05* West parallel with the Southerly line of said Lot 29 to an intersection with the Easterly line of that tract of land conveyed to Bartley Rooney by deed recorded in Book 863, page 189 of Deeds; thence along the Easterly line of said Rooney land South Oo 52' East 125 feet to the Northwesterly corner of the land described in deed to the Women's Club of Carlsbad, recorded Idarch 3, 1955 in Book 5552, page 468 of Official Records; thence South 89O 05' East along the Northerly line of said land to a point in the center line of Eureka Place; thence Northerly along said center line to a line which bears South 89O 05' East parallel with said Southerly line of Lot 29 from the point of beginning; thence along said parallel line North 89" 05' West to the point of beginning.
2, The City Manager is hereby authorized and instructed
to record a certified copy of this resolution with the County
Recorder of San Diego County, State of California, together with
a deed to the aforesaid property,
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED ON the 15tMay of Januar~
1957, by the following vote:
