RESOLUTION NO. 249
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY * MANAGER TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ADVERTISE FOR BIDS ON A SEWER PROJECT ON TAMARACK AVENUE FROM GAFlFIELD STREET TO THE ATCHISON. TOPEKO AND SANTA FE RAILWAY,
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Council
requesting the installation of the sewer main extention; and
WHEREAS, the signers of said petition have agreed to
contribute all, or a substantial part of the costs of said pro-
posed sewer main extention,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager be
hereby authorized to have plans and specifications prepared for
a sewer main extention on Tamarack Avenue from Garfield Street
to the Atchison, Topeko and Santa Fe Railway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be authorized
advertise for bids for the construction of the proposed sewer
main extention.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on the 19th day of February,
1957, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Ledgerwood, Helton, Castorena, and Baird.
NOES: None
ABSTAINED: Robinson
