RESOLUTION NO. 251
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD APPROVING THE TENTATIVE W OF BELLEDONNA HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAB. CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on
the 12th day of March, 1957, recommended to the City Council by
their Resolution No, 8 that the tentati map of "BELLEDONNA
HEIGHTS", be approved subject to the conditions contained in a
iiesolution No, 8 of the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 27tt
day of March, 1957, duly considered the recommendation of the
Planning Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
That the City Council does hereby approve the tentative map
of "BELLEDONNA HEIGHTS", subject to the following recommendations
and conditions being performed by the Subdivider:
1, That the title of said Subdivision be changed so as to
include the name of the original Subdivision.
2, That the map include a full legal description of the
property and boundaries
3. That all deficient lots be adjusted as to width and
frontage to conform to minimum requirements.
4. That interior utility easements be adjusted to 12 feet
in width.
5, That some type of turn-around be worked out at the end
of the road shown as "Palm", or that in lieu thereof, a 1 * barrier
be takenc
with the existing Palm Avenue in Carlsbad,
7, That a 1' barrier be taken at the end of "Donna Drive".

8, That curbs and gutters be installed to the satisfaction
of the City Engineer, with composition of streets to meet City
requirements and specifications.
9, That two standard 6 inch hydrants shall be installed in
the Subdivision, one at the corner of Basswood Avenue and Belle
Lane and another fire hydrant on Donna Drive between lots 26 and
27.

That adequate drainage be provided,
That the area be served by the Carlsbad public sewer
system,
12. That water be provided by the Carlsbad Mutual Mater
Company or its successors.
13, That sewer and water lines not be laid in the same
trench.
14, That the Subdivider install a type of curb that will
properly handle and confine drainage water; that the exact type
and specifications of said curb shall be approved by the City
Engineer .
The City Clerk is hereby directed to place a copy of this
resolution in the usual course of mail, addressing the same to
Glenn E, Metcalf, 2195 Basswood Avenue, Carlsbad, California,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Cit
Council held on the 27th day of March, 1957, by the following vote
to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Ledgerwood, Baird, Robinson and Helton.
NOES : Mayor Castorena
