HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957-04-02; City Council; Resolution 252-A1 2 2 4 5 6 7 e 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 k RESOLUTION NO. 2 A, RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD APPROVING THE INLAND ROUTE OF THE FREEWAY SOUTH OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, WHEREAS, the State Highway Engineer, acting in behalf of the State Division of Highways, has proposed a routing for the proposed freeway extending from Carlsbad, California to the La Jolla Junction; and WHEREAS, said proposed route has been designated by the State Highway Engineer as the "Inland Route"; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has examined said proposed route, and finds the same to be the most desirable and advantageous route as the same effects the City of Carlsbad. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve that the City of Carlsbad endorses the inland route as proposed by the State Highway Engineer as being the most desirable route for said proposed freeway, PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on the 2nd day of April, 1957, by the following vote, to wit: AYES : Ledgerwood, Robinson, Castorena, Eelton and Baird, NOES: None ABSENT: None of the City of Carlsbad, Carlsbad, California
